Preregistration Overview

Fall Semester 2025 & Spring Semester 2026

The following information is intended to help you organize your schedule so that you can accomplish the required registration tasks for next semester. Read through the activities, and note all items that apply to you. You may be directed to refer to the additional information pertaining to registration procedures.

Preregistration provides current students the opportunity to keep moving forward with completion of your degree by:

· Talking with your advisor about courses to take, your academic success, extra-curricular activities and internships, and future ministry and career plans

· Creating your best class schedule based on available courses

· Securing a seat in the classes you need before all the busyness at start of the semester

Preregistration consists of the following primary activities during the preregistration period:

· Secure a reservation for the next semester through eReservations

· Handle any registration holds

· Take appropriate music auditions and/or placement tests

· Create a class schedule

· Secure advisor permission to register

· Submit a trial class schedule

After check-in at the start of the next semester, students who have preregistration will complete their registration by accepting their preregistered class schedule in StudentCentral under the Register menu option.

Students unsure of their plans for next semester should go ahead and preregister. Students may cancel their reservation later without penalty by contacting Admission up to one week prior to check-in.

April 21 – May 6	Nov. 17 – Dec. 12	Preregistration Period · Submit trial schedule · Notification by email as to when to you may submit class schedule. (Times open by seniority. Seniority is based upon closest to finishing one’s degree, not the number of credits completed.)
New Students Friday, Aug. 22 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Returning Students Monday, Aug 25 by 5 p.m.	New Students Monday, Jan 11 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Returning Students Monday, Jan 12 by 11 p.m.	Check-in & Complete Registration · Check-in · Once checked in, complete your registration by accepting your preregistered class schedule in StudentCentral under the Register menu option prior to the close of registration.
